Hello,

-Vincent Lowry

Interview:

1) What is your author name and in what state do you live?
My name is Lynn Hallbrooks and I currently live in rural, mountainous Colorado.

2) What is the title of your newest book and what is the genre?
The newest non-fiction book that I wrote is Helpful Household Hints for the Harried Human.

3) What is the book about?
In this book, I provide suggestions and tips that perhaps others may not have considered when doing housework.

4) Where did you come up with the idea?
I came to realize that not everyone does housework the same. Since I’ve had decades of experience, I thought sharing some of the things that I do might be beneficial to others.

5) How long did it take you to write it?
It took me about a year, as I added to the list of things that I wanted to share, in between other projects.

6) Did you learn anything from the project?
I learned that it is easier to do, the things I do, than it is to explain it to others.

7) Do you have an author website and/or blog?
Yes, thanks to Weebly, I have a website with a blog. You can find it here: https://cswcllc.weebly.com/

8) Do you have any success tips to pass on to fellow authors? How about any great editors/cover artists?
Success comes from hard work, perseverance, and the ability to get back up after you’ve fallen. The best advice I have to aspiring authors is to read and learn from authors who write in your chosen genre. Also read the books that fellow authors have written on the writing process. Take all that you’ve learned and create what you have inside you to create.

You’ve highly recommended Creative Digital Studios and I agree they do wonderful work. If an author needs an alternate place to visit, try Go On Write – https://www.goonwrite.com/ – they have lots of premade cover art and will do custom work. Whether premade or custom work, the cover art is yours –
once you’ve paid for it. They did the cover for Helpful Household Hints for the Harried Human.

9) What genres do you like to read? Are you open to reading new authors and reviewing their work?
I’ve read a variety of genres. My main favorites are mysteries, thrillers, and suspense. I’m most definitely open to reading new authors. I do my best to review all of them. I started Author-Reader-Cheerleader website – https://author-reader-cheerleader.weebly.com – to advocate for both readers and authors.

10) What is your favorite book of all time and why?
I’m not sure I have an all-time favorite. Each book “speaks to me” in different ways.
