After a short stint as a literary agent and helping authors improve their manuscripts, I found developmental editing and overall manuscript readiness more rewarding than fulfilling agent duties. I have a BA in English and have worked in many careers requiring editing and writing skills. I tailor services to fit the author’s needs and budget. I also include a final proofread on most packages once edits have been completed. I can be reached through my website.

  4. I’m WorkWorker, with an eye for errors. I do copy editing and proofreading at very reasonable rates, including a five-page sample. I look at typos, correct word usage, punctuation (clarity, natural pauses, whether it’s just plain correct, and whether or not the writer prefers/uses the serial comma), grammar, paragraphing, readability, dialogue, flow, sentence structure, and so on. I’m a published writer (novels, articles, children’s), a former library cataloguer, and a former newspaper proofreader. I’m 25+ years in as a word worker. My job is to make your work look good and I take that very seriously.
