Following a Dream in 2017 – Day 39 of 100

shot-7

I created my first animation video today. I tried to post it on this blog, but WordPress wants money before that can happen. In any case, it’s on Facebook and I think it’s a good start to an amazing opportunity to reach customers I typically cannot reach with standard photo postings. I’m also thinking about using animation for some additional projects on my list. I have no idea if my skills will prove good enough continue the craft, but I’m pretty sure that I can surprise myself if I put in enough hours of study and experimentation. Persistence usually pays off. And that applies for almost everything, not just my limited interests.

Following a Dream in 2017 – Day 35 of 100

shot-2

I’ve decided to try out animation to help promote my business. This is a rather large step for me because I cannot draw and I know nothing about the field of cartoons and the like. I have no idea if this idea will work or will become another lesson in a long list of lessons of what not to do.

To animate in a way that entertains and informs, I will have to become a student of the craft and dedicate time to learning a new skill. I figure if this venture doesn’t work out for my intended purpose, perhaps I can use it for something else down the road. I really don’t know what the end result will be at this point.

I’m remaining hopeful.
